The World Association for the Advancement of Veterinary Parasitology (WAAVP) is a not-for-profit organization for scientists who study the parasites of non-human animals, encompassing helminthology, protozoology and entomology. WAAVP membership is open to veterinarians and others who are actively interested in the advancement of veterinary parasitology, anywhere in the world.

The functions of the European Veterinary Parasitology College (EVPC)
The main function of the EVPC is to set and maintain professional standards for veterinarians in Europe
specialising in Veterinary Parasitology. This is achieved by awarding diplomas that entitle recipientstodescribe themselves as ‘Diplomates of the EuropeanVeterinary Parasitology College’ and to use the pos
t-nominal title ‘DipEVPC’.
